Tarheel Swimming Association

Welcome to the home of North Carolina's largest summer recreational youth swim league! Over 10,000 athletes aged 18 and under competed in 2015 for TSA's 86 member teams, located all over Wake County. If you are interested in swimming with a TSA team next summer, check the club roster and club map to find one near you. Click on a pin for detailed information about that club.

NEW: 2016 Meets
Dual meets next summer will be held on six consecutive Tuesday nights: June 14, 21 and 28; and July 5, 12 and 19. The team-by-team schedule is still under construction.

The Association's Championship Meet is expected to be held on the weekend of July 23 and 24.

2015 Season Results
Congratulations to each of the 22 division champions for 2015, and to the overall league champions, the University Club Psychos, who scored 1374.5 points to win the Championship Meet! The individual age group point totals, team scores and the Meet Records are now online. The Small Team trophy (for teams with 125 or fewer swimmers) was won by Stonebridge.

Grants and Scholarships
At the TSA Championship Meet on July 26, 2015, twenty-five recent high school graduates were selected in a random drawing to receive Cecil L. Williamson TSA Educational Grants of $400 each. Congratulations to the Educational Grant recipients!

NEW: Pool Professionals has once again generously sponsored the Partnership Scholarship for TSA swimmers. In 2015, $1000 scholarships were awarded to Lauren Schmidt of Walden Creek and Justin Ress of Shepherd's Vineyard. Congratulations to Lauren and Justin, and thank you to Pool Professionals!

Interested in Joining TSA?
The TSA is a non-profit corporation in the state of North Carolina. Private swim clubs within Wake County are eligible for TSA membership, subject to the provisions of the Bylaws.

Those clubs interested in petitioning for membership must submit their petition before the February Board of Directors meeting. The petition must affirm a club's commitment to the organization's attendance and participation requirements.

If your club is just forming a swim team, we recommend that you swim a year as an Exhibition Team in order to learn TSA's procedures and practices. Please contact TSA President Jim Moran if you are interested.
